Newborns just aren't fair. They aren't. Especially when they smell so good and are so well behaved. I have two girls at home and honestly they are quite a handful. They are fun and wild and I love them, but nothing can compete with a fresh newborn straight from heaven. This stage is my FAVORITE. I just love the snuggles and little lips and noses. So I am wondering if there is a way to hold onto that feeling for more than 6 months, because I think it should last AT LEAST as long as they were in my tummy right? Feel free to weigh in your opinion on the newborn stage below.

Dallon & Marissa - Bridal Photography - San Diego

HOPE. JOY. FRIENDSHIP

With their wedding only days away, I shot this couples first look & bridals to save them some time on their wedding day. I have know Dallon for a long time, but on the ride to the temple with Marissa, I learned a LOT about his sweet bride to be. They are the perfect fit for one another and the way they balance one another is so clear.

We were shooting at the LDS San Diego Temple first, and then moved to La Jolla Cove to snap some photos as the sun set. We arrived right as the sun hit the water and were cutting it close on light time. These two brought the magic, and settled into their comfort zones, giving me those gorgeous lifestyle shots you saw above.

There is just something different about the ending to a session like this and the beginning.
That is how most things in life are, we start out rigid and unsure. Do we look right? Are we in the right spot?? And WHAT DO WE DO WITH OUR HANDS? hahaha as we kept shooting, these two began to just be themselves. The silly joking stopped and as they stood there at sunset with the one they had chosen to be with forever, something powerful happened and in the midst of dozens of beach goers, I saw a glimpse of their true connection with one another.

Pure love and friendship. That is the stuff great marriages are made of.
So congrats Dallon & Marissa!
I know your life will be filled with happiness and love!

Joyfully,

Cami
