Searle Family

Sara is one of those people who was born to be a mom. She is just a natural nurturer. I remember meeting her and thinking "wow, this girl never sits down". Sara is always trying to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. Her husband Corey is snarky and silly. He makes jokes and is a hard worker. These two as a team are unstoppable. It has been a joy to know them and to call them friends. I have seen Sara grow into motherhood as her family expanded from seeing her with Peyton, to the birth of her first son Jackson (and now her new baby Rowe) 

This family is so special to me and it was so fun to capture some memories for their family.

Lindstrom Family

Prim and proper with lots of fun! That is this family in a nutshell. I have had the opportunity of knowing Cassie for a little while now and I am glad to say that she is a breath of fresh air. She is talkative, and tells it like it is. That is pretty rare these days. I got to photograph her two little boys a few months ago, so when she asked for family portraits I could hardly wait. I love how they turned out even if Colin was crying for most of it. ;)

The Rodgers Wedding

WOW. This wedding was my first complete wedding and boy did I learn a lot. I learned that this is my calling. Capturing the moments of a couple's love is such a passion of mine. I have always loved weddings and now I know that this is the perfect avenue for me to get my wedding addiction fulfilled.

The day started so beautifully with clear skies and lots of details. Katie got ready in the bridal suite and Jared patiently awaited his bride. You could feel the love they had for one another when they grabbed hands around the doorway and Katie immediately became calm and assured. These two loved each other.

From the moment the ceremony began, to the second they kissed, their eyes did not leave one another gaze. After the I do's and final kiss Katie and Jared relaxed into their new roles as husband and wife effortlessly. The rest of the evening and through the reception they lovingly made sure the other was taken care of. It was such a relief to see these two so happy!

I loved every second and I love being able to show bits and pieces of what I experienced through these photographs.
